The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions towards the community.
SASSA might be rendering providers for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency said it truly is alarmed in regards to the higher range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“That is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The service level made for intervention experiences a large inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it challenging to the status sassa Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to empower the servicing of all customers and improve entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
